Ethos and Approach at Redbridge Primary School
Our curriculum at Redbridge Primary School aims to inspire curiosity and fascination in pupils about the history of Britain and the wider world. We equip students with knowledge of significant historical events, civilizations, and influential figures. Our curriculum teaches historical methods of inquiry and encourages students to ask meaningful questions using historical sources. The curriculum is taught chronologically, with a special focus on the Kingdom of Benin in Year 6. Through this engaging and challenging curriculum, we foster a deep appreciation for history, critical thinking skills, and a global perspective in our students.
