Building work is continuing at a fast pace here at Redbridge Primary School. Our team of builders have been very busy removing brickwork from below some windows, draining surface water has been removed and the access road for builders has been laid with crushed concrete. Meanwhile, Mrs Buxton, Mr Henry, Mrs Simpson and Mr Brooker have been busy choosing carpet and flooring colours for the new corridors and classrooms. How exciting!

18th September 2015

Over the holidays, work has taken place on the foundations for the new classrooms and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the steel frame structure early in October. It will be very exciting to see the new building being erected. Unfortunately, movement between KS1 and KS2 has been restricted, and parents will have to take the footpath outside the school perimeter when moving from one area to the other.

Many changes have also been made inside our existing school buildings. Both teachers and children have been extremely flexible and patient this week. New routines have been established for lunchtime and the start of the school day.
