St George's Day 2017

A huge thanks to everyone for taking part in activities for our St George’s Day celebrations. We had lots of fun including role play, weaving, cucumber sandwiches and biscuits. Mrs Marriott has passed some evaluation forms to a selection of children today and we would really value your feedback on the event in order for us to make it even better next year!

Science Week

“A huge thank you to all of the children who participated in science week and especially to those who hosted the science fair, delivering amazing investigations. The investigations were very interactive and engaged pupils, parents, carers and teachers.

Our Mad Science shows were incredibly fun and educational for all pupils in KS1 and KS2, supporting their learning in science.

Thank you to the parents who attended our science parent workshop. We look forward to more science investigations in class this term! “

Mr Cordes, Science Leader

NSPCC Cake Sale

Well done to everyone who provided or bought cakes to raise money for the NSPCC. Thank you to Mrs Cordes for organising the event.

We raised £278!

Netball Tournament

This month, the netball played at a netball tournament at Redbridge Sports Centre. We played 6 matches against different schools. We won three of the matches, played enthusiastically and enjoyed ourselves. Thank you to Miss Cornwall and Miss Cooper for helping us to succeed!

Staff Sports News

Congratulations to Miss Steel for completing a 90 mile walk along Hadrian’s Wall and to Mr Henry for completing the Brighton Marathon, both over the Easter holidays. Miss Steel was raising money for ‘Inspiring Futures’. Both showed determination and perseverance! Well done also to Mrs Sandhu and Miss Francis for volunteering at a London Marathon water station on Sunday. It was a very busy day for them!
