Ballet Performances

We enjoyed some beautiful performances from our KS1 and KS2 ballet clubs recently. The boys and girls performed a number of exercises and dances for us. Key Stage 1 moved beautifully around the room and Key Stage 2 performed an ambitious version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on the stage. It was the first ballet production to tale place on stage and worked wonderfully. Thank you to Miss Sarah, Mrs Blatt and Mrs Bowkett for their help.

French Day

We had a wonderful day celebrating France and the French language this week. The children enjoyed dressing up in colours of the flag and learning about various aspects of the language and culture. Year 5 studied the work of Henri Matisse. Angel, Serena and Mariam found it ‘fun but challenging”. They said that it was tricky to cut out the shapes quickly while staying within the lines. Haniya particularly enjoyed eating a morning croissant! Many thanks to Miss Kaur and Miss Walker for organising the day.

Year 2

Year 2 children are learning the topic of Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole. As part of their learning journey they had the opportunity to engage and learn Drama with the Wizard story tellers.
