International School Award

This month we have been presented with the International Schools Award, which runs from 2016-19. Thank you to Mrs Azigbo for attending the ceremony near Trafalgar Square. We have all worked very hard to achieve International School Status. Special mention to Mrs Marriott, Mrs Kambo for their preparation for the award and Mrs Azigbo for her Rights Respecting Work which feeds into International School Status.

Tag Rugby at Wanstead Rugby Club

Ten courageous pupils displayed fantastic skills, agility and togetherness to come away with 3rd place in the tag rugby competition at Wanstead Rugby Club this week.  For many of them, it was the first time playing tag rugby. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience and already are looking for to the next competition.  Miss Cornwall and Mr Miah are really proud of the children that took part.

We will be observing a minute’s silence to mark Remembrance Day on Friday 11th November. Special Assemblies and lessons will take place and a limited number of poppies will be available in the playground during break next week, with donations

Our teachers have also been attending external courses and this week visited another local primary school to moderate the children’s writing books.
