Westminster Abbey Art Trip

30  children across Key Stage 2 visited Westminster Abbey to work alongside an iconic writer and artist Father O'Callaghan  to find out about the beautiful icons in Westminster Abbey. They enjoyed learning how to work with egg tempera and the significance of gold in Christian art. They will be sharing some of their work during the Achievement Assembly on Friday.

Design & Technology Week

We had a wonderful time during DT week! As part of the DT focus, some of our children took a trip to the Design Museum in central London to commence a DT project which they will be working throughout the year. It was a fantastic day.

Back at school. each year group focused on different aspect of design. Year 4 classes designed toys and worked from initial drafts, used computing software to create net templates and now look forward to the chosen designs being created. Thank you to Mr Ramlagan for organising the week and all staff for being so enthusiastic!
