Governance

The Governing Body

The Governing Body has three core functions:

  1. Vision and Ethos: Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos, and strategic direction for the organization.
  2. Accountability: Holding executive leaders accountable for educational performance and effective management of staff.
  3. Financial Oversight: Overseeing the organization’s financial performance and ensuring prudent use of resources.

Governing Boards appoint governors based on eligibility criteria that align with the required skills and experience.
